About me
Alexa Kline is the Heinemann Fellow in Conservation at the Conservation Center of the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, where she studies the preservation of polychromy on both organic and inorganic surfaces. Alexa holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the Sorbonne University - Paris IV, and a master's degree in International Relations from La Sorbonne University - Paris I. She is completing her third year of study to obtain a dual master's degree in Art History and Archeology and Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works. Her training in conservation has included work on archeological objects in excavation contexts, Old Master paintings from the Kress collection, polychrome sculpture, large-scale contemporary installations, and Native American objects.
