About me
Bitzy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Classical Studies, as well as a Master of Art Conservation from Queen’s University in Ontario. She completed a Painting Conservation Fellowship at The John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Florida and gained valuable experience through internships at Fraser Spafford-Ricci Art & Archival Conservation Inc. in British Columbia and the National Gallery of Canada in Ontario.
Since joining ArtCare Conservation, Bitzy has trained under the mentorship of Oliver Watkiss and Veronica Romero. She concentrates primarily on the conservation of paintings on canvas and the scientific analysis of painted artworks. Bitzy’s professional aspirations align with current industry initiatives to expand resources for practical instruction in structural conservation treatment and methodology, as well as to enhance opportunities for related discussion and development in the conservation community.
