About me
Caroline Shaver is a conservator in private practice based in Cincinnati, Ohio. She earned an M.S. from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation and a B.A. from the University of Michigan. Caroline specializes in the conservation of wooden objects and decorative arts and has a particular interest in decorative surfaces such as gilding, polychrome, lacquer, and historic finishes. She has had the opportunity to work with encyclopedic collections, historic homes, and private collections in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
