About me
Clara Bailin currently holds the position of Assistant Objects Conservator at the Detroit Institute of Arts. She has an MA in Art Conservation from the Garman Art Conservation Program at SUNY Buffalo State College, and a BA in Art History from Wellesley College. Clara has worked or interned at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum, Harvard Libraries' Weissman Preservation Center, the Frick Art Reference Library, and the Arkansas History Commission. Prior to becoming the Assistant Objects Conservator at the Detroit Institute of Arts, she served there as the Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in Objects Conservation.
