About me
Connie B. Roth is a Professor in the Department of Physics at Emory University, currently serving as Chair of the department. She has PhD and MSc Physics degrees from the University of Guelph in Canada, and completed postdoctoral positions at Simon Frazier University and Northwestern University. Her BSc Physics is from McMaster University, while working summers at Xerox Research Center of Canada. Dr. Roth has received NSF CAREER and ACS PRF Doctoral New Investigator awards, and was bestowed the 2009 Division of Polymer Physics (DPOLY)/ UKPPG Polymer Lecture Exchange. In 2019, she was named American Physical Society (APS) Fellow and received the Fellows Award from North American Thermal Analysis Society, and in 2022 was awarded an NSF Special Creativity Award. She has published an edited book on Polymer Glasses (CRC Press, 2016), and served as the 2020 DPOLY Program Chair for APS March Meeting.
