About me
Curtis Sullivan is a wooden artifacts conservator and project manager who has served as the head of the Wooden Artifacts Lab, Museum Conservation Services, Harpers Ferry Center, NPS since 2014. Curtis graduated with a BFA from Shepherd University in 1986 and continued his formal conservation education and training with CAL (Conservation Analytical Laboratory) Smithsonian Institution until 1989. Upon completion, Curtis continued in private practice providing conservation and art services throughout the Washington DC, Baltimore region for nearly 25 years for private collectors, institutions, and government agencies.
