About me
Eman Osman is a professor of chemical metrology, at the chemical metrology division, National Institute of Standards, Egypt. She has a lot of publications as research work, book chapters and encyclopedia, in the fields of:
• Natural dyeing and non-destructive techniques in cultural heritage (textile and manuscripts),
• Nano technology and its uses in textile and archaeological applications,
• Electrospinning technique and its application in the medical textiles,
• Chemical, physical, thermal and mechanical testing of textile.
In addition, Professor Eman Osman supervised and reviewed many MSc and PhD dissertations in the field of archaeology and textile modification. Besides, prof Eman has participated in many international scientific conferences in the field of archaeology, in addition to her participation in research works and scientific theses
She used to be the head of chemical metrology division in the National Institute of Standards.
