About me
Gillian Marcus is an Assistant Paper Conservator at the Art Institute of Chicago. She received an MA in Conservation of Art on Paper from Camberwell College of Arts and a BA in Photography from London College of Communication. She has held paper or preventive conservation roles at institutions including Princeton University Library, the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts, and Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Research interests include experimental print processes of 19th- and 20th-century female artists.
