About me
Jan Gilliam is the Manager of Exhibition Planning and Associate Curator of Toys at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. In her over 35 years at the Foundation, she has managed the furnishing and interpretation of historic interiors in the Historic Area buildings before taking on her position in the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg. Jan received her BA from California State University, Long Beach and her Masters in History with certification in museums studies from the College of William and Mary. In her current position, she manages the planning and installation of exhibitions, curating exhibitions, and working with the museum educator to plan and implement guest programming.
