About me
José currently serves as lab manager for the Architectural Conservation Lab, University of Pennsylvania. He completed his Master of Science degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania in 2022 with a concentration in architectural conservation. His thesis investigated the material and mechanical properties of Guastavino acoustical tile. He received a B.A. in Urban Design and Architectural Studies from NYU in 2019. He currently serves as a student liaison with the Association for Preservation Technology (APT) Delaware Chapter and is a lecturer for the Department of Historic Preservation at the University of Pennsylvania.
