About me
Katherine Eremin is the Patricia Cornwell Senior Conservation Scientist at the Harvard Art Museums. She has an MA and Ph.D. in natural sciences from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies at the Harvard Art Museums, she worked at the National Museums of Scotland on the analysis of archaeological and historic artefacts. Her work at Harvard involves non-invasive and minimally invasive analysis of art works in the collections, including polychrome sculpture, manuscripts, and paintings from Europe, the Near East and Asia.
