About me
Michelle Leung graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2023 with a MS in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design with a specialization in Historic Fashion and Textiles, Textile Conservation, and Cultural Analysis. Her thesis work is on Solvent Gels for Textile Conservation. She also has a BS in Chemistry with a minor in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Shortly after graduation, she began working at Colonial Williamsburg as a Marshall Steel Post-graduate Fellow in Textile Conservation. She also has experiences with Windsor Conservation, the Cincinnati Art Museum, Newport Historical Society, and the North Carolina Museum of History.
