About me
Meris Westberg is an architectural conservator living and working in New York City. She began her career in Washington DC, working in library and archives conservation at the National Park Service and National Archives and Records Administration, then transitioned to Preventive and Frame Conservation at the National Gallery of Art. In 2021, she earned her Masters of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania, concentrating in Architectural Conservation with an emphasis on preventive conservation and disaster planning. Since graduating, she has worked as an architectural conservator on the Brooklyn Bridge Rehabilitation Project, as well as large and small scale finishes, masonry, and public artwork conservation projects throughout the New York City region. She currently serves on the Working Group for FAIC's National Heritage Responders and is a member of the regional and national chapters of the Association for Preservation Technology.
