About me
Nicole Peters is an objects conservator for Museum Conservation Services, Harpers Ferry Center, National Park Service. She received her M.A and Certificate of Advanced Study in Art Conservation with a focus in objects conservation from Buffalo State College. Prior to her position at NPS Harpers Ferry Center, Nicole operated a private conservation practice based out of Skagway, Alaska, where she worked with the Alaska Region NPS, cultural centers and repositories, museums, historical societies, and non-profit organizations conserving collections and performing backcountry preservation work throughout the state of Alaska. Nicole has completed conservation projects both nationally and internationally, and enjoys working with historical objects, metals, cultural materials, and ceramics of all kinds.
