About me
Sara received her M.A. and C.A.S. in Paintings Conservation from SUNY Buffalo State College, and earned a B.A. in Art History from Bard College. She is currently the Project Conservator for a Getty Conserving Canvas Initiative Project at the Menil Collection and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Prior to that, she was the 2020-2022 Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in Paintings Conservation at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she focused on the treatment of modern and contemporary paintings. Sara also served as the Artists Documentation Program (ADP) Fellow at the Menil Collection and the Whitney Museum of American Art. During her graduate studies, she completed internships at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Whitney Museum.
