About me
Grace Wilkins is currently pursuing a dual MA/MS degree in Conservation of Art & Cultural Heritage and Conservation Science & Imaging at SUNY Buffalo State University. She is originally from San Francisco, CA, and earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience (ScB) from Brown University in 2020. Grace was drawn to a career in art conservation as a way to incorporate and engage her lifelong interests in art, science, and history. She has interned both in private practice conservation and in the conservation departments of the Brooklyn Museum, the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, PA, and Glenstone in Potomac, MD. After completing two years of graduate study specializing in objects conservation, Grace is thrilled to be spending her third-year placement at the J. Paul Getty Museum as a 2024-25 Graduate Intern in the Decorative Arts & Sculpture Conservation Department.
