About me
Stephanie Gowler is the Book & Paper Conservator for Northwestern University Libraries. She holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in Conservation from the University of Texas at Austin, an MLIS and a Certificate in Book Arts from the University of Iowa, and BA in English Literature from Earlham College. Stephanie has worked in conservation at a wide range of cultural heritage institutions including the Indiana Historical Society, the Indiana State Library, the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center, Bethany Theological Seminary, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Film Archive. She is a Professional Associate Member of AIC, served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Electronic Media Group from 2013-2016, served as Co-chair of the BPG Archives Conservation Discussion Group from 2017-2020, and is currently a member of the Education and Training Committee.
