About me
Caitlin Mahony is an objects conservator at the National Museum of the American Indian. She is a graduate of the UCLA Getty Program in the Conservation of Archaeological and Ethnographic Materials. Some of her interests include historic and contemporary basketry, care of outdoor sculptures, and the processing and degradation of hides. Outside of work, she is an ice hockey coach for young kids, teaching them the skill of getting up on ice after a fall.
