About me
Cass Fino-Radin is an art conservator and founder of Small Data Industries, a lab and consultancy that partners with museums, artists, and collectors to address the unique challenges of time-based media art. Before founding Small Data in 2017, Cass served as Associate Media Conservator at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and was previously Rhizome’s first Digital Conservator. Beyond their conservation work, Cass teaches and leads workshops internationally and hosts the Art and Obsolescence podcast, where they engage with leading voices to explore how technology is reshaping the art world. Cass holds Master’s degrees in Information Science and Digital Art from Pratt Institute, a BFA in Expanded Media from Alfred University, and is a 2024–2025 Getty Conservation Institute Scholar in Residence.
