About me
Devon Lee (she/her) holds a B.A. in Art History and a B.F.A. in Studio Art (University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, 2017). In 2025 Devon will graduate from the Conservation Center of the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, after completing her 4th-year placements at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and the National Park Service (NPS) Harpers Ferry Center.
Devon's pre-program and graduate experience includes positions and internships at the American Museum of Natural History, the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, the Statens Naturhistoriske Museum, NYU Villa La Pietra, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Central Park Conservancy, and the Alaska State Museum. Devon specializes in the care and conservation of organic objects and natural history collections with an additional focus on preventive conservation, and throughout her career she hopes to share her training and knowledge with institutions, allied professionals, and caretakers in regions with limited access to conservation support.
