About me
Geneva Griswold is an Objects Conservator at the Seattle Art Museum (SAM). Prior to SAM, Geneva was the Andrew W. Mellon Fellow at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and held positions at the Walters Art Museum and the Getty Conservation Institute. Her research includes technical analysis of featherwork and treatment of decorative surfaces. Her archaeological fieldwork includes seasons at Herculaneum and Abydos, Egypt. Geneva obtained an M.A. in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art and an M.A. from the UCLA/Getty Program in the Conservation of Archaeological and Ethnographic Materials.
