About me
Gwynne Ryan is the founder and Principal Conservator of CAS Conservation, LLC and a consultant for the Preservation department at Urban Arts Projects (UAP). Specializing in the conservation of contemporary art and large-scale outdoor sculpture with a research focus on the collaboration dynamics between conservators and artists, she has worked in the conservation labs at SFMOMA, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and as the Chief Conservator at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. Gwynne currently serves on the Program Committee for Voices in Contemporary Art (VoCA), fulfilling co-leadership roles in their workshop and research programing.
