About me
Kelly McCauley (she/her) is the Preventive Conservator at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, and Chair Emeritus of the Preventive Care Network. Following graduation from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation, she worked for seven years as a preventive conservation specialist at the research laboratory, the Image Permanence Institute, consulting with institutions on sustainable preservation strategies and collaborating on research and outreach projects. Kelly then served as the Senior Preventive Conservator at the National Museum Cardiff before joining CWF, where she oversees a team responsible for preventive conservation in the Historic Area and Museum.
