About me
L. M. Ramsey is the Associate Manager of Conservation Documentation at The Metropolitan Museum of Art where she manages the department’s image creation, post-processing and asset management efforts. This includes standard visible, raking and specular light imaging, infrared and ultraviolet radiation imaging, X-radiography, and photomicrography. She is also an Adjunct Instructor in the New York University's Moving Image Archiving and Preservation program. She holds an MA in Film & Photographic Preservation and Collections Management from Toronto Metropolitan University, and a BDes in Photography from Alberta University of the Arts. Her past and continuing work underscores her commitment to the intersections of conservation, scientific documentation, and artistic expression.
