About me
Marieka is the director of Preservation Services for physical collections at the University of Michigan Library, where she has been since 2013. Prior to her position at U-M, she served as a book and paper conservator for 8 years at the Huntington Library in San Marino, CA. She received a Masters degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in Art Conservation from Buffalo State College and a Masters of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. Marieka began to work in the field of library conservation as a Preservation Assistant at Brandeis University in 1998.
