About me
I am currently the lead project conservator for a Getty Conserving Canvas Initiative taking place at the National Gallery of Art, DC. The project focuses on the conservation of a complex double sided screen by Robert Winthrop Chanler belonging to the NGA's collection. Previously, I was the Samuel H. Kress associate paintings conservator for the Kress Collection, at New York University, where I supported and taught conservation students, and carryed out practical work and research on old master paintings from the dispersed Kress collection. Prior to moving to New York I worked as a freelance paintings conservator in prominent private conservation studios in London, UK, including Julia Nagle conservation, and Keith and Sauerberg (K & S) conservation. I have experience working for several major auction houses and commercial galleries in London. Between 2017 - 2019 I was the advanced post-graduate internship at the Hamilton Kerr institute. I completed my conservation training at the Courtauld Institute of Art in 2017.
