About me
Marina Ruiz-Molina joined the Sherman Fairchild Center for Works on Paper and Photograph Conservation at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2008 to complete a Research Scholarship and became a member of the staff in 2010. She has worked for years on the conservation and study of drawings created by the studios of Louis Comfort Tiffany, and serves as liaison across diverse museum collections with a focus on South and Southeast Asian art on paper. She has contributed significantly to the museum’s ongoing efforts towards the standardization of technical imaging and the implementation of best practices for multiband photography. As an active researcher and mentor, Ruiz-Molina publishes, presents, and teaches regularly in The United States and India. She holds an MA from the University of Malaga, Spain, and a Graduate degree in Conservation from the Escuela Superior de Restauración y Conservación de Bienes Culturales de Madrid, Spain.
