About me
Nicole Ledoux specializes in the conservation of three-dimensional artworks, from archaeological objects to contemporary sculpture. She has a background in anthropology and experience working at museums, archaeological sites, and in private practice. Her research work has mainly focused on organic materials, including new treatment strategies for basketry and preventive conservation approaches for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) artworks. She is passionate about enhancing access to museum collections and expanding ethical frameworks in conservation to promote more transparent, inclusive, and people-centered museum practices.
