About me
I am an Assistant Professor of Imaging Science and Documentation at the University of Delaware, in the Art Conservation and Electrical & Computer Engineering Departments. My training is in Physics (BS, MS) and Materials Science & Engineering (MS, PhD). My PhD research was focused on archaeometry and archaeological forensics via chemical imaging and non-invasive spectroscopy. I had postdoctoral fellow appointments at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Gallery of Art (Washington DC) prior to joining the Art Conservation Department at UD.
My research and teaching areas include: conservation science, imaging science, chemical imaging of cultural heritage, archaeometry, and documentation.
