About me
Sara Moy is a conservator whose work centers on the preservation of modern and contemporary objects and installations, with a particular focus on navigating the shifting materials, technologies, and evolving practices that define contemporary art. She has held positions at the Arts and Antiques Division of the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, the Kaman-Kalehöyük excavation, the Peabody Museum of Art and Ethnology, the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies of the Harvard Art Museums, the Harpers Ferry Division of Conservation at the US National Park Service, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, The Art Institute of Chicago, and M+ in Hong Kong. She holds a BA in visual arts from Bennington College in Vermont and an MSc in conservation from University College London.
